Ah just leave the kid alone... He is probably 12 years old and talking on this site trying to make us believe that is future car is amazing just so he believes its amazing when he grows old enough to drive.

SRT4s are good cars, but they aren't the best car ever produced, like the guy who made this thread is trying to make it seem.
By the way... stock 1/4 mile of 13.8? Last I heard it was 13.9, and before that, it was 14.0 so what is the real stock 1/4 mile time?

Here is a thought for all you working types. How much do you think the insurance is for an srt4 versus a regular Neon modded heavy. I have driven a few factory modded cars and the common thing was always higher insurance. I always enjoyed doing research on sedans and such and finding out they can be modded cheap for some serious performance. Civics are testemonial to this fact, they are dirt cheap and can be modded for reasonable price and can race fairly well. No we arent talking 10 second cars, but 14 isnt too far off the mark and for considerably less money in initial cost and insurance. That is what impresses me the most. Not how much money you throw at a new car, but how fast you can go for a lot less than that. Isnt that one of the things this board stands for?
And for you DSM types, go to 4g61t.org and go to the kill section. These guys build cars that usually dont go higher than 10 grand and these little monsters hand anyone their ***. The wildest I read was a Lamborghini. It was pacing only but the guy in the Lambo wasnt smiling. He was shocked. 10 grand, shock the out of a Lambo driver. That is impressive.
