oh man... for a weekend fun car, A supra would be garbage. the mustang isnt really that fun without mods, and a vette, well you would get used to it

that leaves the Viper. You get looks and its a killer off the line. Like sokmeone said, style and N/A power= true love but then again insurnace on one of these is killer

exactly... why get a Daily drive like the Mustang, or stang then mod it... or a shitty overpriced supra and shove a ton of mond to make it fast and reiable. Get a fast, styles car that has a ton of potential... think if you can make a 6cyl Supra 1000HP... henessy can make a 10cyl Viper 1400 HP

as for handleing the viper isnt that good, but why would you need handling if your in a viper... Straight line racer

saw one getthihng serviced at my buddies shop world fine cars... and wow, its nice. nice 10 inch tires on the back.. nice engine bay... i thought i was nicer than the 10 M3's, and porchses sitting around.

If the supra's werent so overpriced, i would take one over an old mustang or older vette of 93, but 30K for a 93 supra is INSANE!

And a 97 supra vs stang, easily take the supra.. 97 supra vs viper, take the viper... mustangs are todays Honda Civics... Except honda motors are still better than ford... and make more HP per displacement.

Viper is just a hot machine, itll turn more heads any day of the week than the other 3.

and the LS aftermarket is WAY overpriced. it sucks
I disagree. Ford played the market in a very well planed out way. In the 80's and early part of the 90's, the Mustang walked anything GM produced all day, everyday. Since GM introduced the LS1 those statistics changed, stock for stock. GM kept their new motor quiet whereas ford passed out blueprints to any aftermarket maunfacturers that were interested in producing performance parts. Ford only screwed up in this department when they introduced the 4.6 modular motor, and only hurt themselves, much like GM did.
This is where your comment about the Vette and LS1 powerplant in particular, are true. The LS1 was kept hush hush. There was zero aftermarket available for the LS1 only up until recemtly, and still the aftermarket scene pales in comparison to what's offered for Ford. This was one good reason the F-Body died. IMO Ford make and have always made an excellent product in the Mustang. It's a long lasting tradition that has ALWAYS stood the tests of time.
Take a look at GM shares right now. I feel bad for anyone that still owns any.

Maybe the 305 f-bodies... Nos so much the vettes, syclones, turbo trans am's, grand nationals... well the rest of them

correction, LT1. Since the LT1, the chevys have been blowing the doors off similarly priced fords.. the LS1 opened up the gap even more.

I doubt that the lack of genIII aftermarket has ANYTHING to do with GM shares... you're talking about a small niche vehicles that have little impact on the entire company. Plus the genIII was introduced in affordable form in 98 and then dissapeared a few years later. How long have the mod-motors been in the mustang?
