I have a 2000 Silver Mustang V6 coupe with no rear spoiler and i want to put one on it. I was wondering what spoiler would look best on it, the stock one, a Saleen or a Roush? Or any other kind of rear spoiler that would look good on it? Also pictures of them would be great i think i know what they look like but I could be wrong. Would any other generation spoiler fit on it like 05-09?

I am a big fan of the Steeda Street wing myself (of course that means I have one) it is not as big as the Cobra R one but I think it looks better than the Roush or Saleen. Between the Roush and Saleen I vote the Roush. I am at work so I cannot post pics but if you goto mustangworld.com click on 99-04 and look at May 2007 then click on Bo's mustang you can see what the wing looks like. I know long post and a bunch of steps but just trying to help.

i found it thanks.
it looks very good on it but i was thinking over the years i was just going to make it into a saleen. you know saleen spoiler, saleen bumper, etc. then eventually a saleen engine for it. any tips or anything that would help me with it would be much appreciated. Also is the S281 saleen the only type of saleen or is it like an upgraded version of it? any info on saleens would also be much appreciated.

There is a S281 Extreme that has a supercharger on it I believe but I think that the 281 and the extreme are all. It seems as though I was reading that Saleen has gone out of business, and that Steve Saleen's new company was going to honor all existing waranties.

oh yeah i just read a couple articles saying that. so what really happened to the company?

It appears that some time ago Steve Saleen left the company and began another called SMS I think is the name. After Saleen left they started having issues and finanly the new owners just closed up shop. I think that the fact that Saleen took most of the top engineers from Saleen with him probably had a lot to do with it. A shame really since he built the company from nothing and had to watch it go under.
