351C in a Fox?
#16
If you spend all your time looking at obscure and difficult swaps and trying to get it done, you'll probably never get rid of that 4 cyl auto. If you wanted a 5L it would probably be done by now.
I am simply trying to offer reasonable advice. Some people spend too much time trying to be different and less time doing things right.

I don't have enough fingers and toes to count how many foxes with 351W's and 302s I've seen, but I've yet to see a 351C in a fox. When was the last time you saw a 460 in a 94-98 stang? Wouldn't that be cool?
Just cause the 5.0L is already in a mustang doesn't mean it has to stay there....like it's mandatory that you build that motor and only that motor otherwise the mustang gods will strike you down.
I like that article in Modified Mustangs(I think) where buddy dropped a 4.6 out of a Cobra in his 83 Hatch. Lots of work but it's one of a kind. Isn't that what hot rodding is about?

While there is more aftermarket pieces that fit the fox body, a 351w block with CHI (cleveland) heads won three of the top four spots in the PHR Engine Master competition. If you can get the parts to make it fit, it would be not only different but very powerful.

Wonder how much work that'd be?

That's f-in sick man.
The only thing I can think of that'd be sweeter than that is if it had a big chrome 8-71 poking through the hood....old school styles.
What the hell kind of numbers does that thing do?

Well, it has an eagle crank and I beam rods, keith black pistons, 10.4:1 compression, ported heads, rather large ford racing cam, roller rockers, LT swap headers, single plane intake, BG Demon carb 850 cfm, and a bunch of other goodies I'd say she puts down around upper 400s at the wheels N/A with more than 500+ ft.-lbs. , it has traction issues lol.
