Looks restrictive.

I wouldn't expect major HP gains by adding it.

Are you kidding me? That does not look restrictive, it's designed to be used as a look-a-like to a carb but on an EFI car. Considering regular base Holley carbs come with four venturies and can flow 850 CFM on a regular body easily, that throttle body looks like its based on a typical square flange base I'm sure it flows quite well.
My thinking is such: It will have to be used on a carb'd intake manifold that has been converted for use for EFI (ie injector bosses welded in, like the EFI Spyder). Most of these carb intakes have much shorter intake runners than typical 5.0 EFI intakes, which will cause a potentially large loss in low end power production. It can be beneficial depending on your setup, and after some searching I found BBK part #1716 which is rated at 1000CFM. This would be beneficial on a big inch motor, probably 351cubes and up and very beneficial on big inch power adder motors. It would be ideal for a drag setup where you can launch hard and high and shift high, on an engine that makes peak power around 6500 RPM or so.
Average street car, wont work so well.
