5 Bolt conversion

I have a 1990 stang. I want to convert it to 5 bolt. I was given a 94 stang for parts. I know that the front spindles will work on my car. My question is, will the axles from the rear fit in the 8.8 housing?

Wisely advise you jsut use the 8.8 from the SN-95. Same rear end, and just throw in whatever gears you want. My buddy did the vice versa, threw in a 8.8 from a 89 LX, fit like a glove.

The axles are about 3/4" longer than the '90's. This is because of the disc brakes on the rear. If you have access to the whole differential then swap the whole thing, brake lines will need to be fabricated and because of the difference in wheel flange to wheel flange length, you will need to be carefull about wheel offset.
