i have a 96 gt, i'm not sure if it matters but lately my car's been overheating, leaking antifreeze (and i took it to the mechanic to get it checked and they said they cannot find anything leaking or busted) i was pissed because there was nothing leaking when i took it there. i guess they were having trouble finding wherever this fluid leaked. and another bad part is, when i turn my car on, my exhausts smell so bad. so bad if you were to stick this in a closed room, you would die. i'm really concern because everyone i asked about say this is gonna cost a lot of money. they don't tell me how much but any ideas? thanks! it also has 147,000 miles on it.

is it leaking like dripping under the car? or are you noticing white dry residue in the engine compartment?

im having a similar problem, just wanted to compare.

could be intake.96 to 98 i think have plastic intakes that crack.they were under recall to be replaced with better made ones.

so a compression test and a leak down test
