Attention Foxbody Tech Guru Stang Seller!
Hi Stang Seller, the locals here said you were the resident tech guru, so I thought I'd ask you a question.
I've only saved up about $6000, and I really want to make my car run 13.80's. Rumor has it, you actually managed to DO just that. Granted, you probably spent a little more than me, but do you think I can run 13.80's for only $6000?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I too could use some help, need some driving tips, geese i wish i could sit down and talk to a good driver, maybe billy glidden or someone just as good as him. I am also interested in knowing the recipe to go 13.80s for only 6 grand.

To go 13.80s with 6k is a tough procedure. My suggestion would be to set the base timing to 6* BTDC with the spout out, and leave it out, install an aftermarket tuning system like a MOTEC or something, you'll definitely need two nitrous bottles "the big ones" and some rivets for your floor. The rivets and removable diamond plate will set you back a hefty amount, so make sure you dont have your manifolds melt.
Or, if you like saving money you can go 13.80s with a turbo while spending much less. It all works out in the end.

I spent 7k on my car and ran 15.0, maybe its the big 18 inch wheels slowing me down, Stang Seller installed my blower with 14psi and my cam and intake and 165'S and all my fuel system and ignition and I ran 15.0 at 94MPH
I am not sure why I had it dyno tuned 441RWHP and 411RWTQ
I guess the 2.9 60 footer arent helping
and maybe the extra 660lbs being a convertible oh well it looks pretty
and in the end I would rather look nice then have a POFS car running 11.90's
Thanks SS

First off, you still have stock heads so stop trying to be a hero. A convertible top doesnt qualify as a cape. You dont have an increase in boost, you have an 11lb pulley thats slipping. Your portly cruiser is making 328rwhp with a blower, intake, cam, and exhaust. I bet my heap of with a $1500 turbo kit is making more power than that.

hahahahaha at the cape
it's 9PSI cause some pansy thinks more then that will fry the pistons..
we left 40HP on the table for safety reason. I seen your home made box spewing fluids all over Home depot 1 night then barried my head in your 15 sec pass at TMP.
Dont pull beside
