Which mufflers will sound the best on my 90' notch.

I want to put some good mufflers on my stang, but I am fussy when it comes to sound...I want deep and loud! I was thinking Borla or Magnaflow?? I need some ideas...

thanks...

I dont know how loud you want to go but I had a Mac cat back on my old car
and even with a pair of high flow cats on my h pipe it was pretty loud
and didnt have the drone that flowmasters have 2 1/2 all the way
through of course.

Well, I like LOUD..he he......most mustangs around here have the flowmasters and I am not really a fan(no offence to anyone). I will keep the mac exhaust in mind thanks for the info.

As soon as I put my new motor in I will probably switch my flow
masters to a 3" Mac set up all the way through

Sounds awesome! Let me know how you make out! I am going to try to find a vid of a stang with a mac exhaust just to see how it sounds.

There's tons of companies that make mufflers for Stangs.....one that comes to my mind is Bassani...I'm pretty sure they have a 5.0L set-up and they look very good.

They came to my mind simply because I haven't heard of anybody using them yet

I dunno.....the name kinda implies deep/bassy but who knows.....I think they have more of a market for the 05-07 mustangs, I should see if there's a website.

I keep hearing that MAC stuff rots out pretty quick. I dunno how true that is. Some may call the Flowmaster sound "overdone" but I think it just sounds great. Not like I run into a lot of stangs around me anyway.

If you want to hear a bunch of clips, check mustangexhaust.com You need to register to browse through all the sound clips, but it will give you a good idea. I think I'm going with a Flowmaster catback this season.
