My first thread is sad :(

And the reason for my oil stupidity is that in my 4.0 truck i went 7K miles no problem and still drive it now with 112K miles

yet my stang is shot at 86K

Time for a rebuild. Might as well do all forged and then get blown
Tough lesson to learn, you could always get a warning light for low oil pressure

yeah...what sucks tho is the oil gauge was always in the middle

so i didnt even think to check

Wow, that vid sounds BAD. Thats definitely a rod knock, probably a spun bearing. If yours sounds like that, I think its more damage than the heads. If you can't afford a whole new motor, just rebuild the stock bottom end with some decent forged pistons and some I beam Rods and find some used PI heads and intake to slap on there. It'll still make ALOT more power than the non PI turd, and if you decide to throw some BOOST or NOS at it... it should be able to take it so long as you make sure theres OIL in the damn thing!!!! Good luck, and I hope you're smarter for the next motor. Poorer, but smarter at least I hope.
