I can't even recall any vandalism or nasty going on in front of those stores there, it was a massive car show from Timmies to Home Depot. Now they have chains up everywhere and on a weekend night the place has 2 cars parked and the drivethru has 4 people. Sell-out your business to get rid of what was a harmless event. Sure you could probably link a few of the cars in the lot with street racing, but all of them? Not a chance.
->there were personal spotlights directed at the helicopters - pissing off cops
->for about 3 weeks before, those establishments were home to some serious burnout competitions destroying the pavement at their front door - pissing off the buisness/property management
i'm pretty sure the Timmies didn't have a part in closing the other lots, but rather the customers walking/pushing the carts through/over the divets with the added expense of asphault repairs.
the problem with those meets is not the street/strip cars. its the jackasses that just learned to neutral drop poppa's car, or the freshly installed fart can exhaust with matching cone filter and want everyone to see/hear them.
the real badass cars rumble in and out low key.

Sure, just like everyone plans their driving to not have accidents. They still happen. And judging from some of the posts here (such as anyone everrun the cops, and how high was your biggest speeding ticket), some criminally-stupid things happen.

Ok... back to the original topic...
I called the insurance company today and the woman (a different person that I talked to before) said that as long as the car passes a pre-insurance inspection, and I can provide receipts for the aftermarket parts I have installed on the car, I will be able to insure my vehicle.
So last time when I asked the guy flat out "Will you insure my modified car?" his response was "No."
But today the answer was "Yes."

It is still 'NO'... she just deferred responsibility so you wouldn't get into an argument with her.
Call Center Reps usually don't give a . Especially insurance call center reps... they constantly have ppl on queue and those ppl are constantly pissed off...
Do I sympathize? No. However, it does explain why you got such an answer.
