Review of 1983 Mustang GT w/ 1985 Mustang 5.0 HO

Car: 1983 Mustang GT w/ 1985 Mustang 5.0 HO

Part: Hurst Competition Plus Shifter
Pros: Perfect fit and finish; Amazing deal for the kit: 174.99 for the shifter, chrome handle, white que-ball ****, shifter sealer boot, new bolts, new console plate with Hurst logo (Jegs.com); Perfect shifts, every time, never miss 3rd; plus, its made by Hurst, the legendary name in shifters.
Cons: The arm doesnt curve quite enough towards the driver.

Part: Dynomax 2.5" Cat-Back Exhaust
Pros: Very nice fit; Sounds mean, not too aggressive at idle, but they howl at WOT; Sounds like a big block when you are behind the car and its accelerating away.
Cons: None.

Part: Auburn 7.5" Differential, Posi-Traction
Pros: Very nice diff, handles all the power i have now much better than the stock piece; Fit perfect; Good upgrade for someone who has more power than stock; I know, i blew my stock diff, and this one has the capabilities I need.
Cons: None.

Part: Cooper Cobra Radial GT Tires
Pros: Very reasonably priced tires: 235/60 R15=$55; Last a very long time, and have amazing smoking abilities; Dont leave much rubber when just peeling out, but will melt pavement when doing a brakestand; Good traction in the rain; Nice cobra snake emblem on the black side, and very nice "Cooper Cobra Radial GT" raised white lettering on the opposite side.
Cons: None.

Part: Sylvania Silver Star Headlights
Pros: Brightest non-HID lights on the market; Perfect fit; Make night driving much easier.
Cons: None.

Part: Suspension Techniques Lowering Springs
Pros: Nice looking springs; Function great, lower the car only about 3/4-1", but enough to make it handle much better than stock; the car's stance looks more aggressive, yet not too much to let people know what it can do; plus, no need to change the rack bushings to offset ones; Good price-169.99 (Jegs.com).
Cons: None.
