Review of 93 5.0 LX

Car: 93 5.0 LX

Part: Borla Stainless Steel Catback for 5.0
Pros: Produces more power than most other catbacks, 1,000,000 mile warrentee, $80 intercooled tips, easy install, great quailty parts (clamps, flanges, welds), does not flood cockpit with noise nor does do you hear anything under the floors.
Cons: Without full exhaust is not much louder than stock, expensive ($600+), if you dont adjust the system right and have it too close to your bumper, it will easily melt the bumper since all the heat is at the tips where it should be.

Part: BBK Catted X-pipe
Pros: 2 cats instead of 4, great quality construction, very easy install, passes emissions, very considerable difference in the sound.
Cons: $100 more than a O/R mid pipe, aluminum.

Part: BBK Ceramic Coated Shorty Headers
Pros: Great difference in sound, very easy install, look awesome, contains heat well, does not discolor like chrome.
Cons: Not the cheapest of all headers ($400)

Part: BBK Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
Pros: Only $100, accepts a gauge, looks great, solved my problem of the car stalling out after header install.
Cons: Decrease in gas milage, hard to get to the right pressure (if you are over like half a pound, the car will hesitate).
