SON

couldn't see the time, but i think it was in the 11's?

never been a fan of Mustangs, but the new one is lighter (somewhere around 200-300lbs) than the 350Z and handles better. wow.

Viperoni 03-25-2005 11:58 PM

haha, i think people wish the new mustangs ran 11's stock, but most tests/comparisons that i've seen for the 05 stangs have pegged the 1/4 at high 13's, if not low 14's for the average driver

From what I have seen those numbers have been pretty much the same for a number of years. The 05#'s are no different, it all comes down to driver knowledge.

Nice vid by the way and that exhaust tune sounded real raspy. :thumbsup

What does that have to do with anything? High 13's is fast for a stock car at that price, and the car in the vid still ran an 11.99.

Fabius 03-26-2005 12:39 PM

I dont know what you idiots are arguing about but that car didnt seem stock to me at all.

what in the fizzuk? who the hell ever said a stock GT runs 11's stock? (not even a Cobra comes close, let alone a GT :eyes: )...so yea, i don't know where you got that piece of info from.

the 05 GT should be in the low 14's, and maybe high 13's (depending on so many variables)

just assuming that the car in this vid is stock (since the 05's were just released and it's n/a) sure it could have swapped internals, so chill, i was just saying it'd run high 13's and low 14's, no need to get all "fizzuk" on me, whatever that means

The car in the vid ran an 11.99, check not only the filename but the end of the video :) I'm sure it's far from stock but I have seen a company with chip/bolt-on's/tire run an 05 in the 11's... company starts with a J. I'll find it if I'm not too lazy

Actually 05's dont run 11's stock but that was NOT a stock stang it was N/A thats why it was in mid-low 11's. :appl:

No stock 4.7's dont run 11's but they can. Very easily too. That was not a stock 05 it was just Nituraly Aspirated. I'd Hate to see it with boost
