109k to much?
So, I found a local who has a 1998 T/A for sale....needs it gone asap and its all clean/stock. It has 109k on the clock. Only was askin 7,500 for it is that to many miles for a ls1? I think its around average I mean its 8 years old. What yall think? Need info because I may have sold my car for 8 grand. Its time to pick up a V8 LT1 or LS1.

LS1's can run a long time when taken care of. If the car isn't beat and you plan on truly taking care of it you should be ok with the miles. The price is up to you, I paid 12k for mine with 44k miles.

Get it.
I can't believe you guys are finding LS1s for those prices. Up here the only ones you see people want like 30-40 grand for them. You find the odd one for 20 but those have really high mileage.

Yeah dude ... This would be your car that you could go crazy on performance wise ... And you could join PCBCC ... Project Camaro's Black Car Club .... I just made it up, but you could be in it maybe. So far the members who are in it but dont know it yet are Caleb, force_fed, Gentner, 97z2801ss, and Phate. lol .... We're much cooler than the 97 mafia too. We're actually gonna have a gang fight soon ... haha, even tho half of them are 97s.... *rants randomly*

eh, i was in the same situation. i had 9 grand and could get a high mileage LS1 or a low mileage LT1. i ended up getting a 61k LT1 TA.
a rule for me, never buy anything over 100k. it is a good price, so if you decide...it better be a 6 speed.

100k is not high milage on any car except a subaru, or mitsubishi (their engines we can't ship if they have that high) most ls1's with 150k that have been maintained and torn down show very little wear
