My car made a zillion horsepower with a K&N drop in element and a hole in the muffler. It has less power than your car, but I weigh less so my zillion horsepower will beat your zillion and forty horsepower. :banghead:

TD is right- You can compare numbers to numbers all day, but it all comes down to the track IMO.

Horsepower, torque, the strength of the powerband itself, traction, gearing, weight, driver, road surface, weather conditions... these all have an effect on a race. Drag, not so much at the kind of speeds we're talking about. Drag can have a noticeable long term effect (fuel economy on a long road trip at a sustained speed), but it's not a huge factor in a short dash like a 1/4 mile.
