85 Iroc $1700

this is this one kid i know's car. its an 85 Iroc 305 TPI automatic. as you can see it has some decent size dents. but new fenders for that car are like 30$. its got 114k which i realize is kinda alot, but Niceroc's car has somewhere around that and it runs pretty well. This car hada recent fuel pump change and new battery i know. i need to get rid of my car and theres a guy who said he would buy mine when he got his tax return so im seeign about that, and this kid can only keep the car a little longer. so i need to tell him weather i want it or not. if i say yes i need to make sure i can sell mine before i get his. I can get this car for 1700 and thats why im so interested. It has a pretty good stereo and pretty good interior. SO what do you guys think. Should i try to make some sort of deal for this and get rid of mine then buy this right away? all opinions are welcome

quarter is tweeked bad it sideswiped something, hows the rearend? that is way too much for that car in that condition, and why are the seats reclined so far are they broken?(if he drives like that he needs to be hit in the head) I think better can be found

he spun out into a ditch. prolly whacked a tree.by rearend you mean the diff.?i can pick up used 9 bolts at swap meets an i haev a spare one that needs ring and pinion and axles, if thats what your talking about. but i dont think theres ne thign wrong. he can drive the car daily. idc that much about seats, prolly change them ne ways. my seats lean pretty far back because they wont go ne further forward. but idk if theyre that far back. you honestly think i could get something better for that price?

I bet the rear end housing has moved, the car would be a total if he turned it into insurance, the car is worth about $500 in that condition I have seen '91's for $2000 in much better shape

yea, thats what iwas thinking with the mileage. paint is not a problem, as logn as the body is good and everything, then paint is just a few hundred bucks and a weekend in the garage.
