93 , Thanks.
M/night , Hopefully your reply was tongue in cheek . I REPEAT, I know its a saturn , I,m just going to around with it .The resale value of this or any other project means nothing to me .I modify cars as a hobby, not neccesarily for profit or resale .I allready own a nice ( to me ) car . Maybe its you ( at 20 yrs of age ) that needs to save up and maybe ONE day buy a nice car.
Me an a buddy have allready done a mod like this before on one of those box shaped civic wagons . We cut out the whole rear suspension , and put in a 5oh auto with a cougar independent rear suspension. It was quick , but the frt end floated at higher speeds on the high way . My car is older then you .haha..77.

I don't know why you're taking shots at me, I'm not the one with a Saturn wagon. I don't even NEED to say anything else. I also don't see what my age has to do with this. Maybe when I'm a couple years older I'll realize how ing sick Saturn wagons are.

saturn
drop a ecotech motor in it!!! I know it wont be cheap but it would be an easy motor to mod. You can get the performance parts book or the eco tech hand book right from the dealer.
If you are looking for something more budget then go for the 2.4 twin cam with the 2.3 quad head . From what I hear that will make good power. It has been done before so it does work. But there are not many parts for it and you have to make sure and do it right or it wont be reliable.
Another option is using teh 3.1 6cyl mpfi motors . They are really cheap and they can take a decent amount of boost. not much parts for there motors eigther but the ussual stuff like porting and polishing works. They are easy to work on and real cheap to fix.
Then all you need is to drop it and get some decent rims and then you are done.
Would be cool to see a conversion done in a saturn cuz i have never seen it done before. Dont worry about what every one else says, its your car do what you want with it. Post pics if you do it!
