Aren't the GTs the v8? Why would anyone say the v6 could beat a v8? :confused:

If this car has the same engine as the 95 and 96 then you got ripped. Anyone remeber the Stang Vert off of HP TV? I think this car has the same engine.

GT's have 225hp and V6 Camaro's have 200hp which is just sad considering you're paying the gas and insurance of a V8 but have the performance of a V6.

my 4cyl Spirit could beat the GTs...

i don't understand why you guys spend so much time bashing stangs. ya they aren't gonna make as much power as our cars cause your comparing 5.7s to 5.0 and modular 4.6s, its still american muscle just on the other end of the spectrum, and what the ****, if stangs are so shitty then why are they still in production and f-bodys got cut. plus you talk about them like they're ****** eclipses runnin 17s, i never realized that 14 sec quarters were bad times for stock vehicles. am i the only person that thinks this way on the whole site????

The first 4.6's had terrible heads and were slow as hell. The reason Stangs are so popular is #1 their cheap and #2 their popular with the masses. GM really had no platform to put the 5th gen Camaro on either so that is another reason the F-Bodys were cut from production.

i just think its funny that 93-95 stang gt's have 215 hp...wow what a v8. ALSO...Look at the camaro 3.8's for the stang, 150 horses up until 98, then its 190 horses. Camaros are just overall better cars...plus...who wants to drive a ford?

Of course it will be a rebadged Holden but it will have a Camaro badge.

Holden is the Australian division of GM and yes the GTO is a Holden car.
