Dont get a new bike...id say keep it under 1995. First of all because if you have never ridden before (I dont mean uve jumped on ur friends bike once or twice either) its gonna be a whole new world 4 you and any newer 600cc-1300cc bike is gonna be way 2 powerful. WEAR GEAR, dont let me catch u wearing a mini skirt and flip flops or ill have 2 fly out there and . I see it like this...go find out how much all the gear is gonna cost you (helmet, leathers, gloves, boots) then see if you still REALLY want a bike. Cuz you can easily spend just as much on gear as you can on the bike. (Which you should if its ur first bike). You are going to crash. lol not trying 2 scare you but im serious its going to happen. If ur like me then you're gonna say no im not ill be the one to not be a statistic. But u will be . I dont mean just dropping it at a light because you broke 2 hard or going through a toll booth and not knowing theres a **** load of oil build up from cars that stop there and ur foot slips out. I mean bighting it while ur riding. Like I said before dont get anything new its way more bike than ull need (plus ull crash and ull be surprised how little it takes to total a bike). All the advice I can really give you right now.
