Any Camaro Club Members?
I just joined, not only one, but two Camaro Clubs today. The biggest Camaro Club in Washington to date is: "PNWCC" ~ Pacific NorthWest Camaro Club. Started back in '87 with 250 members, they do various events thoughout most of the year. During the Spring, Summer and Fall, they have quite a few sponsored car shows, a few picnics, a bunch of cruises, and even some drag racing events. (club vs club)
At first I wasn't too sure about joining two different clubs, but there's quite a few members already that belong to both clubs, so I don't feel so bad about it now. Besides, this just means there's twice the action that's going on this year.
The other one I joined is called: "Camaro Cruzers" ~ The founder of this club was once a member of PNWCC, but didn't like the politics that went along with having such a large group of members, so about 4 years ago he started his own. The thing I like about this club, is that they're more into going on cruises than sitting in a big parking lot and looking at the same cars week after week. (Hence the name....Camaro Cruzers)
This Saturday is the first event that I'll be attending, which is an F-Body show in Port Orchard. The Founder and Webmaster himself (of C.C.) sent me an email earlier tonight, letting me know that there will be about 20 of them meeting up about 1 1/2 hours before the actual show, and did I want to join them? Hmmm, let me think,.. OK....
I'm just stoked about being invited to cruise around for an hour and a half with about 20 other guys in F-Bodies. I'll definitely be taking lots of pictures of that.
So,...I'm just curious if anyone else belongs to a local Car Club?

Sounds pretty cool! There is no specifically f-body club here.. we have gm modern muscle which meets up rarely and it's not the ricer site that the big one of Omaha is so it's Mustangs and F-Bodies mostly

we have no clubs here except for a mustang club (that is pretty cool allowing anyone with a nice car into their shows) and one for restored 1930 and older cars kinda sucks. I used to be a member of teh international camaro club, but dues got too expensive

Yeah, theres TCStangs here, which is the club Im primarily involved with... MNFbody is a club, I go to their forum, and Im friends with some people, but Im not "officially" in because I dont pay, which I think is stupid.
Oh yeah, and I got invited into the BOSS club (that guy with the gay daytona's club )

Yeah, both of these two clubs are 12 bucks for the first year, then 5 bucks a year after that. You get your normal club plaque, club ID cards, and a t-shirt, so it's actually a pretty good deal.
Hell, I'd pay the 12 bucks just for the opportunity to go on cruises in a huge wolf pack of Camaros.....even if it was that much each time. But, since it's not........ I'll just Cruz for the price of gas. Man.....all the sudden this is going to be a pretty kick-A$$ summer after all. I'm probably gonna end up with so many pictures, I'll have to have my friend come over and create more storage on my computer.

I was on the Car Cruzers Webpage earlier submitting my new member info, and I noticed that the feature car of the month had some nice silver/black wheels on it. At first they looked kind of like my mine but painted exactly how I want to paint them, and then I found it in the gallery.
They're on a Silver 2002 Z28 with a black top, black halos, a billet grill and some GFX. After seeing it up close, I realized they weren't the same wheels as mine, but I wanted to post a few pictures of it to show exactly how I want mine painted.
There's also 2 other pics of an LS1 Engine bay, and the rear tails on it. I've never seen these tails before......they look like they're recessed in a little.
This first one is the Featued Camaro picture
Another one a little more from the side
Here's a close up of the wheel......I'm kinda like'n it
This is a sweet looking Engine Bay
Check out these Taillights

At least this time I have a car that's cruise worthy.......the last time I tried doing the club thing, I had the 67 Camaro that ran 10's. It definitely wasn't built for cruising, so this will actually be pretty fun. I wish there were more people on this site that lived closer.......who knows, maybe I'll be able to get some of these guys to join this site. They do have site's, but they're nothing like this one......it's either little or no communication at all.

I think I joined the Camaro Cruzers myself last year, but honestly I can't remember. I've been thinking about joining PACE (Pittsburgh Area Camaro Enthusiasts) but I haven't did it yet.
