Question Average LS1 prices?

I have been looking to upgrade to an LS1 for a while now. Does someone have a general idea how much LS1's are going for? My budget is around 8-10K and I was wondering if it would be possible to get an LS1 with less than 100K miles in that price range. I'm really not picky, Z28 or TA it doesn't matter as long as it has an LS1. Or better yet if I could find a V6 car with an LS1 that would be great (nice way to get around insurance).

my friend has an 00 SS, with a ton of upgrades, pushin 370 rwhp, insane amount of suspension under the car and in really good shape, had 80k when he bought it and only real problem was it fell out of reverse all the time. he payed 15k for it a few years ago which was a pretty good deal. you can prolly get something like that or with not as much done or not AS nice but still decent for around 10k i bet. good luck finding one

If you keep looking you'll find an LS1 for that price range no problem.

Yea you should have no problem finding one... look on ebay they are going real cheap on there. for for one close to where you live so you can go look at it before you pay for it.

You could get an LS1 with 55,000 miles for 12,000. My friend has 2 for sale actually. One is a red SS, cam, you've seen it, 55k, he wants 11k for it.
