bad news...
So i went to get the 67 dynoed today, but as they were strapping it down and running it and testing it, it started leaking transmission fluid, just like spewing it out. So i left it at the shop, they are going to look at my carb, tranny, intake, tha rear axle might be bent. THey also said my torque converter was set way too high, so they will adjust that and pick up some more horse. Top dead center it and make an itemized list of what all needs to be done. Basically they are running a diagonistic on it, make me a list from VERY important to not important, with saftey and horse power in mind. They said they could easliy pick up another 100 hp with some some basic mantinece.
They got it ran once, and personally i am ashamed of the numbers, i have no idea how i beat that evo8 or that ninja.
HP - 210 @5500 rpm
Torque - 231@4250
I trust this shop.
He also had a 65 fastback mustang with 700 hp on a 100 shot of nos. It runs low 9's. SO i figure they know what they are doing.

well the shop charges 65 dollars for 3 puls on the dyno, you can do two HP and torque pulls and then a virtual 1/4 mile on it. As far as labor its 85 dollars and hour plus parts. These guys are really good people, i suggest you check them out too blade.
Its called "fast specialties" It on minehaha just past that leather store, and its on the right. check it out man. hopefully they get me going a little stronger.

i'm not sure where the leather store is. you know where NW auto body is on minnehaha? it's prolly just around there i'd assume. that's more money than i can dish for repairs and whatnot. and i've really been interested in checking out a G-tech for the stats. but a true dyno would be sweet too. i think my car is around the 240 hp zone. and maybe less. i dunno. just a guesstimate

Well some good news, they are half way through "tuning" it up, and now im at 240 hp, they are going to top dead center it, set the timing, recurve the distributor, and a few more things. So hopefully i will be just under 300HP when they finish. Now with my tax return im buying headers, 700r4, intake manifold, and some other stuff to get me some more power. THey think the rear axle might be bent, so thats going to get fixed too.
