best street tire to use?

My understanding is that in terms of traction,
MT ET Street DRs > BFG DR > Nitto 555R
However, the price you pay for that traction is the streetability aspect. I'd be royally screwed if I ever got caught in the rain on my ET streets! Plus, you arent going to get much more than 3K miles of street/strip driving on a set of MT's, depending on your car, power etc. I suggested the nittto's b/c it looks like she was looking for something on her daily driver and its probably the best compromise for her. Im not too familiar with results ppl are getting with fwd cars, but 1.7-1.8's are possible with nittos on a rwd car, which isnt that bad for a daily driven set up.
