My best advice would be save up for the v8 even though it will be hard. There's not much point in throwing money into a 6 if you don't like it and aren't gonna keep it awhile.

yea dude, if you dont like your v6 and you seriously wont be satisfied if you ever do get into 13's, then get a job(if you dotn have one already), save up a bunch of money, put your car for sale for somewhat of a high price, and sit on it. especially if it runs good and stuff. drive it how it is till you get more money, then put it for a pretty high amount, and wait. If you dont desperatly need a car theres no point in selling it for cheap just so u can get a v8 earlier. just my opinion. I doubt his parents said no.lol, my dad told me to get an old a-body and we could put his 327 in there and a 4 speed and all this other ****. that would be crazy fast but thast my dad for you and i dont think a lot of parents are that different. if you drive well and safe they wouldnt really care if you had even a 500 horse LS1.lol

gotta agree, if you don't like your v6 don't waste the money on it.. I plan on spending alot of money on mine and making it fast for what it is, but that's cause I don't hate mine like you seem to hate yours.. just save up for a v8, or pust some money into looks, that way you can trade parts when you get a new one.
