Car decision

Well I went to go look at the pontiac GTO's, and I must say, it impressed the hell out of me. I test drove the automatic transmission, it wasnt as fast as mine, so I hope the 6 speed will be faster. Interior is really nice.

Would you keep the camaro, or get a 05 gto

Keep "a" camaro. Or keep "your" camaro. Cause if it's based on yours i wouldnt' touch a GTO. A stock camaro, yah, a GTO would be nice.

I know I'm gonna be shunned for it, but I'd take a new GT over a GTO anyday.

EDIT: Actually when I initially posted this, I didn't even take into consideration the fact that you might be looking at an 05 GTO..If that is the case, then go GTO, otherwise, I still say Stang.

I can't get a vette right now, I would want a C6 if I could afford it.

Of course later on down the road, if I sell my camaro, I'll get another one, or if GM makes the new one, i'll get one of those.

I saw a new Stang with the sticker still on the window it today. It was a white V6 with a "GT package" from what i figure was the wheels and the spoiler. MSRP was around $25K which i guess is resonable for a new car but i saw something that desturbed me. Under the MSRP was something called "Market Value Ajustment - $15,000". What is that? Why would Ford charge $40K for a V6 Stang?

You know, I went to one dealership looking for an 05 GTO, but they had a 5k market adjustment, in addition to putting down a deposit on the car. The other dealership was very lax, letting me test drive it, and aren't marking it up.

In short, it varies from dealership to dealership. They charge that to make more money off it. The SSR's at our local Bill Heard Chevrolet have the 15k markup also.

But $40K for a V6? I guess if someone wants one bad enough the dealership is set for the month.
