Well I recieved a call from my mom saying she wanted to buy my dad a birthday gift. So we went to the local dealership and bought the only Pontiac Solstice they had. She asked me to test drive it for her and I must say the car handles extremely well. Very low on hp but the handling is what sells me on the car. That and I think it looks really good.

I didn't care for it at first but it's really starting to grow on me. What I really like is the fact that the top goes into the trunk so you don't see the stupid cloth top while it's back like you see on a lot of convertables.

Yeah 2006 is the first model year. They're hard to come by as well, most dealerships are marking up the prices because GM said no matter how well they sell they will only produce so many a year to keep them in demand and from over populating us with them which I know my dad loves.

yep and the first few batches of the sky and the Soltice are gone, lucky find chad.... GM had a lot of pre orders on them....
