I'm sure it can pull a good amount in, that vent will really force the air in when the cars moving. I'd like to see where the air filter fits.

... Um, yeah... read the information about it. The Eaton supercharger is GUTTED. Think of it as a fancy intake cover at this point. The pulley on the S/C isn't attached to anything, the charge pipes for the turbo run through it to maintain stock appearance.

It's a horribly inefficient design, but so are the STS Rear-mounted turbo kits for the LT1s, and they still put out DECENT numbers. If this thing is pushing as much boost as it says, I'd be interested in seeing what it could do for powerband.

I'd rock it.

I thought it looked cool at first, but the piping looks retarded.

I dont mind cobras tho.. with wide meats on the back, those things look sick imo.

i like it.

say what you want about it, but it is a pretty clever setup and the underhood really does look like a factory Cobra engine. im sure this wasnt set up by some hoopty shop just to look cool. for that much piping and bending im sure it performs higher than expected.

FYI, ive read on GMhightech or something that with the STS turbo setups, pretty similar to this, it takes something like .001 seconds for a molecule of air to go from the turbo to the intake of the engine, and the cool air moving underneath the car makes an intercooler unecesary.

only thing i would be worried about is the hot side pipes going from the turbo near the rear seat area. i think its pretty uniqe and they did a good job at what some might consider stupid or pointless.

and the targa is sweet indeed!

The charge pipes run up the side of the car, and they're not hot air.

The exhaust pipes basically run into the turbos where they would meet your stock mufflers more or less. No worries there. And the exhaust exit would point right out the bottom, so you're fine.

sorry, by hot side pipes, i met the hot pipes of the system not the pipes that run along the side of the car.

and i was refering to where the tailpipes meet up to the turbos, i would be scared of the heat there, which i was thinking would kinda be right next to anyone sitting in the backseat.

like i said tho, i like the thinking behind it.

The piping is in the stock exhaust locations, so you'd be fine back there.

Otherwise, think of them as heated seats.
