This damn car of mine

Well Grant, if you put it on carefully and didn't force it at all then I don't see how you could have messed it up. The opti might be bad, its a common but unfortunate plague with these cars. I hope its nothing too bad and too expensive. I hope you don't get screwed over by them trying to track down this problem. Dealers around here are known for tryin to solve something by throwing the most expensive parts at it first, not solving it, and then putting in the simple $25 dollar part last and chargin you for the other $1000 in parts that didn't do anything..

deff, like everyone else said. only thing im so grateful for, is all the tools and garage space i have. ive been so fortunate that ive never had to take my car anywhere to get something fixed(other than alignment). and even for that, he tells me my Baer heim link tie rod ends are crappy and should be replaced, and they only want 80 a peice and then labor. so the price for wheel/tire mounting and balancing and alignment woulda jumped from like 150 bucks to like 350. this wasnt a dealer either. good luck tho grant, hopefully you dont have to deal with anything liek this again.

Well its about time i get some good news. I went and saw Epic this morning. The guy working on her was named Russel. Luckly the Opti didnt need replaced. The timing was just a little off. She started up and sounded good. But the dealer hadn't put the water pump or hoses etc. back on yet so she didnt stay running for too long. But thats progress. I should be getting her home tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest. But I love the laundry list of things the dealer "recomends" replacing. You should heard the rash he gave me for the throttle body bypass But the water pump, the hoses, the thermostat housing all could use replacing.... I'll keep it in mind guy...
