Do Not Buy From Wheelsdirect

i dont know if this is the place to post, admin u can move it to the appropriate section. k here's what happened, i went to wheelsdirect cz i thought they had good deals on tires cause they directly get them from the warehouse, so i went, 4 toyo tires, 215/60r16 spectrum. costed me a total of 500, which is not bad, but that's where the worst part starts, at night, i was driving on the highway to hamilton, and the faster i drive, the more vibration i get from the car, so i knew something was wrong. so today i went to bridgestone autorepair, which is one of the best repair shops in my view, and checked it out. here's the receipt :
1. tire pressure was suppose to be at 30, but wheelsdirect set it at 35
2. wrong weights were used
3. the tires were installed incorrectly, the red dot is suppose to match the air hose.
4. all wheels out of balance, 1st one, 0.75&1.5, 2nd one 0&1.75, 3rd one 1&1.75, 4th one 0.5&1.5

the people that install them must be hippies from the street, having no clue how to install a single tire! im gonna drive all the way back to toronto tomorrow, talk to them, show them the firestone receipt, and see if i can get my money back, if they refuse to, im gonna complain to my local mpp, which i work for, and see where that takes me to. any suggestions would be welcomed!

riiiight ... i surely hope that our local mp's aren't concerned with trivial matters such as your tire purchase and more important things such as resolving the college strike, but who knows ... local mp's are usually bandwagon jumpers when it comes to local issues.

at any rate, i've personally had good dealings with wheels direct when i replaced the oem tires on my 350z, my friend who introduced me has had good dealings when he replaced his tires on his integra, his friend who he introduced, my friend who i introduced who got a set of winters this last dec., and so on and so forth.

they offer very competitive prices, perhaps even the best anywhere around toronto. so far, i've never had any problems with their install job, and neither has any of my friends or people who we've referred in the past. perhaps you pissed them off or something, because that place is by far one of the best tire sources in toronto.

lol no i dont think i pissed them off, even if i did, they cant put crappy tires on them, anything happens to me on the road, they're gonna be paying for the damages. i called them, they told me that they'll see the receipt and give me the cost of balancing back, the only problem is that i have to go back to toronto again, gay...
