Dumb Question
Ok I was talking with someone tonight and he had a 350 suburban and I said I wish I had that motor we replies what I said a 350 I only have a 305 he is like they are the same motor just different heads?? is this true? do they have the same bore just different heads??

tell that guy to go fall off the face of the earth. totally different block. arch explained it to me before. 305 is a 3.---something bore and 3.5 stroke i think?... and 350 is 4 inch bore and 3.5" stroke.i forgot.lol

yep bore is smaller on a 305 and no it can't be bored to 350

Thats what I thought I said 350 has a bigger bore and he was like no it is just the combustion chamber is bigger on a 350.
