I need some advice and help. I just failed my emission test, my car failed on the 'NO ppm' section. My reading was 650 and the limit is 526. Does anyone know what i should do? I went to the mechanic and he said that it's gonna cost 450$ to fix my car My car is a 1994 Acura integra RS with 340,000Km on the odometer. Here are the detials of my test,
---ASM 2525---
HC ppm my reading: 17 limit: 68
CO% reading: .21 limit .68
NO PPM reading: 650 limit: 528 (FAIL, this is what i failed on)
RPM: 2064
Diludon: 15.4
---Curb Idle---
HC ppm reading: 30 limit 200
CO% reading .25 limit 1.0
NO ppm reading: N/A limit N/A
RPM: 764
Diludon: 14.9
any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, im currently driving on an expired sticker

there are two o2 sensors, 1 beofr the cat and one after... each one costs 231 dollars and im not sure how much the cat is..... this is totally not worth it for me to fix, im prolly gonna end up buying a new car sooner then i expected

thanks for all the advice guys, i actually went to the mechanic and found out that my catalytic convertor was totally clogged. when the mechanic took it of, i pointed it at the sun and tried to look thrugh it, i couldnt see sh*t! SO, i had the cat replaced and passed my test with flying colors! My car feels a lil better now i think, prolly cuz it can breathe out finally
