Faded inteped headlite

Just finished post on chy page but what the heck . The plastic headlight covers on the bosses 01 intrepid are getting faded ,Is there any way to get them half way clear again or do i bend over and take it like aman . later bake.

wetsand them as if you was to polish a set of rims, then either wax or clear coat them...

you can try meguires PlastX polish. if that doesn't do it then you'll have to wetsand polish and clearcoat

What grit of sand paper ,i assume the finner the better also do i buy a can of spray on clear coat or is this some kind of wax type protection ? thanx guys .later bake

well what i think they mean is.

you start with 800 grit and you move down to finer sand paper. after you sand, you wash and clear coat and or wax.

if i'm not correct someone chime in please.

Time vs Money = Normally if you own a Dodge you like hands on and save money, kind of like ricers do with a aftermarket muffler welded onto stock exhaust pipes! Well somewhat, his work will pay off, the aftercan just adds noise and helps point out the ricer

I saw some one use the cheap canadian tire hand cleaner on their lenses and it brought it back very well.
Would not have believed it if I didn't see it myself.

Hey kota ain't u a world of knowledge .What type of cleaner the gritty type or just the cream? I assume u use a soft rag so as not to aggravate the plastic. The first sentence was my black (dark) sense of humor , thanx 4 all the helpfull hints. Later bake
