The thing is, people are going to push this car to 200 MPH. The reason for the urgency is that, while a control arm failure at 7 MPH through a parking lot won't be so bad, that same control arm failure at breakneck speeds is potentially fatal.

i didnt know ford made mazda, i thought mazda was japanese...ya learn sumthin knew every day!
