Found a car I like.

Their is a 98 Transam I'm looking at in a sales paper and I'm going to check it out soon. Headers, air intake, and some other mods are already done to the car. It is white with T-Tops and has ZO6 rims, this might be my start into the LS1 world. :)

miles? asking price? sounds sweet!

RFF 01-28-2005 03:08 PM

Called the guy up and found out he is selling his son's car for him, 130K+ miles and he wants $11,500. Guy must be smoking crack.

RFF 01-28-2005 03:09 PM

Kelly Blue Book values the car at $7,315 and that is with a very good condition rateing.

meissen 01-28-2005 05:04 PM

I got mine for 6,000 with 34k on it.. with 130k I wouldn't pay more than 6..

dam, that's ridiculous. Some people really have no clue about how to price a vehicle.... and the worse thing is, is that there is always someone out there that would pay tha much unknowingly.....

the mileage is a lot, but its less than my car had at the 7 year mark. The guy who drive mine drove alot. At the 7 year mark(which was when I got it), the mileage was 175,xxx.

archemedes 01-29-2005 07:37 PM

which is what really drives prices up, people who know something about cars won't pay it, but there are fewer and fewer of those people around
