Question GF's Grand Am or 3000gt...which one?

OK, listen up... my gf has a pontiac grand am (1998 gt), and was offered a 3000gt(1995 SL) from her dad. But the thing is she would have to give her grand am up to her sister.

The grand am has 100,xxx miles on it. But we replaced the radiator, wheels, brakes, battery, just had a tune-up and a bunch of smaller things.

The 3ooogt has a 170,xxx miles. its 5-speed. Just had a new clutch and master cylnder replaced. Also has new brakes. It was valued a few grand more then the GA.

The thing is im afriad it will turn into a money pit, and she just put all this money into her own car and theres nothing wrong at the moment.

We really dont know what to do. Style wise and fun the 3ooogt would be better but with mileage wise its up there and we dont know how much longer it should last.

What do you guys think?

If we keep up with oil changes and tune-ups when it needs it do you think it will outlast the GA.

I say keep the grand am... 170xxx is a lot, and you dont really know how its been treated, do you? Plus, unless its a VR4 or TT 3000 I wouldnt take it.
