That cardomain site I posted with the car you photoshopped Epic's concept had the glasstek hood.

I just looked at the site, they're located about 45mins from my house. So if I buy one of their hoods I won't have to pay shipping

Bolt on installs just like your stock hood, a pin on need's hood pins to stay on. They're mainly used for race cars, go with the bolt on for sure.

Well yah it's gong to be bolt on. Hood pins are wierd on a non-track car. The only reason i ask is cause i found a guy on LS1.com who has one, painted red, in **** near perfect condition for sale. He's in Virgina so shipping would be hard but... if the price is right.

Well he's asking $425+ shipping. Not too far off from what Glasstek is asking for a non-painted one. Shipping is going to be murder though... i'll wait till i see pics.

Looking at Bishop's SS is really making me think I should get another cowl induction hood. I really loved the one I had before.

I was thinking that and that's the main reason for me not to get it. It would just be weird for us both to have cars with so much in common.

if you get another cowl, you could go with the 'flamed' look while Grant does the 'striped' look.

That true, I've been thinking about doing something different with the paint.

Yeah but you can't see that from outside the car. At lease our interior's will be quite a bit different and mine's t-top while your's is a 'vert.
