got a z28 project updated
picked up a z-28 yesterday its 83 lg4 305 witha t-5 tranny the clock says 127k how ever it needs a fuel pump and it looks as if acouple ****** in the neighbor hood put some dirt in the tank. and the guy cant find the ignition key so i need to fin a new ignition. it took us 4 hours to put it on the trailor. it almost fell of the ramps about 10 times but i think it should be a good little project ill post pics later

my other ones almost done i just need a intake manifold and its done so it to far along to drop so ill have two camaros
i got the fuel pump tonight and a filter im ganna check it out se if there any sand in the tank and my ignitions comin in tomarrow soo if all goes well i ll have it on the road this week end and the tires are **** so im ganna smoke em off in front of my house

well i worked for about 5 hours on it today i got the old fuel pump off and the new fuel filter on. turns out theres no sand in the tank. i drained the tank and started puting the new pump on but me not really familiar with a mechanical pump didnt notise the little pump rod thing had fell down and it took me about 2 hours to figure it out then i managed to rip the gasket. then what realy pissed me off is the ignition i got the wheel off and the blinker set up off wires unpluged but the lastic colum cover wont slide back far enought to get it out:banghead: :banghead: so im ganna just go to a junk yard and get a whole new colum ignition and all and yess pics are coming im just to lazy

haha that sucks. so whens it gonna be driveable? I had to change my fuel filter the other day...wasn't too bad, i just hope my fuel pump never goes out b/c that will be a ***** to do

vert yours is TBI right? did u have to frop yout tank and rear end ect. because that sucks did that once. hopfully if all goes well ill be smokin the tires off by friday but i doubt it becsue the junk yards only open on the weekend. that rod is the biggest pain in my *** and the cramped engin bay and the smog pump being in the way dosnt help any lol my monsterous fingers get in the way alot
