how many turbos?
#31
im surprised that still no one has mentioend that the gtr, supra and fd all used identical sized turbos for their "sequential setup"...
Problem with havign a small turbo and a big turbo is that the little big one would spin before the little one unless you would have it o na v laytout or separated exhaust manifolds.

Basically it comes down to engine setup. a 4 cyl will always have a single. (seen a twin setup on an SRT-4, but just for originality factor)
If you have a Vee (6, 8, 12) engine, it is almost easier to stick a turbo on the end of each header. therefore you have two.
You can get dozens of single kits for the Supra and Skyline, because they are Inline 6 cyl. All the exhaust comes off one side of the engine, so just slap a turbo on it. Very rare to see a single on a 300ZX, Stealth/3000GT, Audi S4, etc... because they are Vee engines.
