Ok, so I'm going to put the job search on hold for a few hours and put the new fuel pump in. I already cut the hole in the trunk now there's nothing left to do but do it. The one thing no one ever warns you is all those tutorials on how to cut the hole for this method - doesnt involve a vert. It's a bit differant due to the braceing back there. Shouldnt be too much harder but we'll see.

Disconnecting the fuel lines is the hard part. I guess it's easier if the tank's dropped but nonetheless i pulled the **** out of the tank. After that it's cake. Now i'm just waiting for the glue to set on the bucket. I did test the pump once i got it in and seated and wired up and the hum that the old pupm was missing is now there. So I'm better off now than when I started. The glue shouldnt take too long so I'll probably have this finished up tonight.

BTW - if anyone is planning on doing the hole in trunk method - this is a VERY good tutorial to use....

And with a turn of a key - Epic is alive again. I just glad that was the problem. If it wasn't the fuel pump then I was screwed.
Also I took the first step to getting the back seat back in Epic. My plan is the move the amps to the hump (where the hole for the fuel pump was cut) and move the subs to a box in the trunk area. That way I can put the back seat back in. Um.... does anyone know where I can find a back seat for free? LOL
