no no no i will not sell my car for a civic..but i will buy another car in addition to the camaro so i can get it put in the shop

That's not a bad idea, then you can take all the time you need rebuilding your Z. If the engine really does need to be rebuilt you can save up your money and put in forged internals and run a nice shot of nitrous as well as putting in a cam and heads.
