is that how you would use the 60k? lol!
wow, in ricers, even if theyre given a lump sum of cash, they still in pick rice over a proper in car, and think about doing it up.. :supergay:

they can be had for around $20K.
also, i love the K20, so i don't know what your ing PROBLEM is with me liking a high revving engine with decent displacement (can be stroked to 2.3L).
also, my only car of all cars would be a 02'+ Z06...yes, totally different category, but i'd rather get a K20 and save money.
(in refernce to your "stripped" comment) even if i was given a Z06, guess what? i would start looking for ways to cut the weight, OK? so u ing understand that? i'm not a grandmother like you yet. so i like my cars stripped and lightweight. it's better to have another beater as a daily driver. i don't beleive in modifying a car extensively and then putting up with daily Toronto rush-hour traffic. that is just my ing approach/philosophy to things.
to me people like you sound fuking stupid when u say "u can spend 60K and have it all". seriously, good luck "having it all" cos there is no such thing.
just because i'm a fan of a particular motor, how does that make me a ricer? u sound very pathetic with ur reasoning.

go to the rich guys at the track in their stripped Porsches and BMW's, or whatever else. i guess all those guys are a bunch of fuking ricers and they strip weight from their car cos they are BROKE....go in preach to them about how they're so stupid to not enjoy the ing interior, heating and all your other "grandmotherly" needs.
what the are u doing on a racing forum anyways?

Does the car have to be available as of right now or this year?
If this year, I'll take the '06 IS350 ...maybe im a little bias
275 tq
300+ hp (hp specs not released yet, but over 300)
0-100 in the 5's for the speed freaks
Interior nicer then most cars mentioned in this thread, and a classy looking exterior

wow so what yorue saying is you would blow the 60k ricing out some rsx, and cutting out the interior because you like them stripped. hmm.. i was 16 once and stripped interior in a daily driver was "Cool" for me too. when you get older, you, your wife/gf, family, freinds, will appreciate a car that actually has something in it, stays quiet, and is just plain comfortable and classy to drive.
i understand your mentality, i love the feel of a no interior completely gutted race car too. you dont know weight reduction until you see a drag car like mine. but guess what, its not a STREET car anymore, i would hate to have to go to and from with it in such shape. and thats the in point to all this.
if you have in 60k, you dont have to be a in idiot, buy some underachieving platform, and try to make up for it by cutting out left and right. its like me taking my car out, shillacking some 10 second z06 by maybe 1 car length, while he has a full interior and a/c, and then thinking my car is somehow better all around.
do i even have to mention that if you just spent 60k, do you really want to drive a fwd entry level car that is actually worth less since everything is missing, or maybe a car that shows like you have taste, money, and some common sense. driving in with a new 330i makes a statement. coming in with some riced out shitbox just makes you look stupid
you have 60k cdn. this topic said what would you buy BRAND IN NEW, not 2 year old rsx's. youre still a dumb ricer kid who thinks a one seat 1800lb wonder is appropriate for a daily driver. then you wonder why the only you get to drive around is your mom's cat to the vet

well, i went off topic. so there's no point to this.
but 330i's are cool, i'd definitely get one...but not with options that bump it to 60K.
there, we found some common ground.

And personally I think so as well... I've had the chance to drive my buddies G35 coupe for a while... 6 spd, brembo's, 18's, etc... didn't like the way it drove. It was a nice car styling wise, but it had quite a few problems with in a very short period of time.
Although I'd like to hear why you think the G35 is better then the 330? Please don't mention the price difference, that shouldn't be an issue since we all know Euro cars are more then others even if you think it's not worth it.

the G35 has that new car appeal, and a what an exhuast note. The 330ci has no exhaust noise, sounds like a buick. That sound from the G35 is locked with them and i personally like the sound. The 18 wheels and Brembo package make the car even more livly, but ive heard that the Gearbox can be clunky(desiel truck anyone)
both sayin, they are priced similarly, and have little aftermarket, but thats what makes modding them more Unique. I see more blonde, corperate moms driving 3 series than i see driving the G35 2 door or 4. that saying, both cars are nice, and the BMW has a higher class b/c of name and s bit nicer interior. I would take the g35, beacause its not that regular car that ppl think of, and doesnt have that your boring, rich, BMW 3 series tag that comes along

First off, i would like to say that for 8 grand or whatever you pay for that extra package, its a waste of your money. That ugly round style front bumper that trys to copy that M3 look fails horribly. Next, why do you need that usalless extra 12 hp, that you dont really feel, or those door sills making uneducated people belive you have a M series. If i woke up every morning and opened my door, i would be like , i could have bought a used m3 and been ever so much ahppier with the real Thing. THe gearing on the 330 is nice, but its not as sporty as i would have wanted it to feel. The Exterior Styling has been to similar for the past 5 years and it doesnt really have that standout effect when buying a sporty car. (the new one changed the look for the better )
Granted the body style is getting old now, but the new one is around the corner, and it's (the E90) better then the E46 in every way.
BUT... IMO for a car that just came out not too long ago (the G35) it looks pretty boring already. I mean I liked it at first... it was different, but now... i hardly notice it at all, and when I see one it's not that nice looking any more. Plus i've seen a few of them with the chrome peeling off the door handles and what not... something that doesn't impress you when u see a car that's supposed to be "upper class"
The gearing, well it's still supposed to be a cruiser not a racer like the ///M, so even tho it has a 6 spd gearbox, it's still going to have taller gears, it's especially for better MPG.

And the sound of BMW's inline 6 still is one of the smoothest, sickest sounding motors out there.
As for the 18's and brembos... well... the G35 coupe was "livly" but in a bad way... very unstable IMO... you could feel the suspension squirm under the cracks in the road (dunno it might have been the chassis flexing). The brembos were mint of course... did a couple panic stop's and almost pulled my teeth out. and yes the 6 spd is very notchy.

The thing is... the G35 is trying to copy the 3 series... because the 3 series is so powerful and popular in it's class Nissan/Infinity wanted some of the cake... but when it comes down to it... the G35 doesn't have what it takes. And now with the new E90 they're one step even further back.
