Insurance ispection

I finally got a car and got a good insurance rate on it considering that I am g2 driver with no prior car insurance experience "that's how insurance companies put it to justify the high rate!". The broker told me that I should take the car for inspection within the first 2 weeks. The broker did not provide with a name or address for car inspection centres. There is also a misspelling with my last name on the pink slip. I keep calling to follow up about the spelling correction or car inspections centres but get nothing but the answer machine! My E-test and safety is done for the car. I dont know why the insurance companies still require to have the car inspected. Any way if anyone knows where I should take the car for inspection, please let me know. Any help would be appreciated.

6Msentra will become famous soon enough
the insurance company (not the broker if youre using one) should send you a letter with a list of approved facilities to inspect the vehicle.
no matter how much of a pain in the *** it might be... make sure you keep following up to get the info. if the ins.co. is under the impression that you have been formally told to get it done they may remove all but liability coverage, or cancel you for not doing it.
usually they require 2 3/4 shot photos (on for each side) to note damages etc.., but sometimes want the full inspection.
