Just my luck...

So about 2 weeks ago my car started slipping a little bit in drive.. it was fine 1st 2nd and 3rd.... keep in mind this is an auto.. So the otherday overdrive went completly I dropped the pan put a filter kit in it and put new fluid in it that didnt help much... so i didnt drive the car much at all just slow up to work and back... Then today on the way home from work i was just cruisin slow about 35 then i got to the two lane so i hadda speed up a bit... then then it wouldnt go into 3rd gear is gone.. I couldnt get up faster than 45.. so unforunatly my car is down for the count.. Its sittin in my uncles garage.. I think im gunna go with a t56 conversion.. I'm in no rush cuz i planned to put my car away in a month or so we will see how things work out ill let you all know what happens

First thing to go in my tranny was the 1-2 clutch pack, the car would not shift to second because I burned the clutch pack.

Hook yourself up with a Rock On Stage 3 4L60E if you want the auto, if not, T-56 with a SPEC 3.

Sorry to hear about the problems but do the T56 conversion, six speeds are SO MUCH more fun to drive than auto's.
Auto's are for serious drag racer's, manuals are for people that want to have a fun car to drive and save on gas yet still stop by the strip every once in a while.

it won't be cheap it's a truck freight item (the quarters from my '75 are almost $200 a piece to ship truck freight because of size, the trans is because of weight)

allso i dont want to sound dumb but i dont know **** about stall converters, what size are the stalls on the stock 4l60e's? this one comes with a 3600 how much of a difference would it make or what should i throw a different one on since they aint hard at all to put on the tranny while its out...
