haha me and my friend went and picked up all this stuff today and payed absolutely nothing for it. We found this block that i think is a BB oldsmobile. i have heads and intake and carb that i think will work for it too. pretty sweet. Not sure what any of this is for sure. The one trans is a TH-400 and the other iono what it is but i know its a GM trans. Also got a bunch of motorcylce parts, spray guns, alternators, a brand new motorcycle battery and lots of other stuff. lol we even came across a helicopter helmet. Lots of cutlass parts too.

oh and those are pretty good engines especially if you like torque (lack a bit on oiling but that's easy to fix) I had one in an '86 ranger it was a bit fun especially with the fuel cell in the bed lol

Your parents must really love you. I had my old differential in a box in my shed, and my parents used to give me **** about it.
Actually I still have my open differential in my shed. I should probably sell that.

I don't know any sites for olds casting numbers. I did a quick google search and all I found want money for a membership. Check your local library they may have an older book with them
