I'm seeing the theory behind what your saying, I just don't see how you would apply it in the working world?

you spray the floor down, hang a drop cloth, and use air to blow everything, 90% of the dirt in a paint job comes from the car, or painter. I have painted a car outside in the summer and gotten very little dirt

Very interesting, Arch while I have your attention I was wondering if you recommend a spray gun I just remembered the place I work at sells paint guns so I might as well get one while I can purchase one at cost.

Nor sure what brand O'Reillys carry, all I remember is that they come in blue and black boxes. Do you like to use gravity feed guns?

for everything but primer (I store primer in a suction gun for a few days it doesn't spill a easy) for a beginer I would recommend the devilbiss finish line guns, cheap and great quality
