MAP sensor???

MAP sensor???
Ok i have a problem with my Old car...A friend said it could be the MAP sensor but im not sure.
I already took it so they could do a Computer scan but it show some sensor but it didnt made any diffrence.
The car start to go crazy from very low rpm to very high rpm and the checkenginesoon light is always.(when the light is on the car speedometer just drop dead)
BUT
lf is cold the light desapear at the bigining but then it comes agian like 1 min after start the car. while the light is off the speedometer works again and also the Milege start to work as well.
sometimes the light start to blink and the car goes from high to low rmp really fast and sometimes it turns off becasue is to low.
btw is a 89 Buick 2.5L
