Mis-Firing System?

I was watchin Initial D and One of the people said something about a Mis-Firing System???Anyone know what that is?

and also Initial D is soo Stupid besides the racing parts. "When i added that new Tachometer my Trueno gained extra power" ING JAPANESE RICERS!!

To the best of my knowledge, a misfire system works by running the car rich every time you let off the gas fast. This unburnt gas is dumped into the exaust manifold where it is ignited, expanding and keeping the turbo spooled during shifts and corners.


I'm quite sure this is quick death to your turbo though.

Exactly correct. WRC use that, and as said before, it is killer to your turbo.

Well the tach part isnt far off, just off in translation.. he needed a tach that could read to 10,000 rpm so he would know how high he could rev the engine. Initial D rules

I love initial D too but just that part ruined it for me for a while. But thanks for clearing that up for me.The Initial D must have had some hardcore racers from Jap. helping to make that video.
