its weird how when you drive a decent car, it usually attracts people you wouldent usually attract. I was pulling out of a gas station the other day when I was confronted by an old nissan sentra. and I DO mean old...So we both roll side by side until we get to a redlight. I stop slowly and cautously, he slams on his brakes, locking the wheels and skidding for 6 feet or so. The light turns green, he revs his engine and does the old "glance over at the other driver for a race" type thing. He guns it and is gone after I take a left turn. It was funny as hell to see that he felt he needed to prove something to me.*sigh* I love ricers....

Yeah lol, first couple weeks after I got my ride, I noticed pimped out pieces of crap always seemed to ride my tail and then try and pass me as fast as they could on the highway.

Took me a sec to figure out they just wanted to try and one up me. But all it does is make me laugh when you hear their engine racing like its at redline and barely passing you, yet your engine is puring along at a nice 2500 rpm.

Now a 3.8L isn't all that, but when you have 1.2L machines trying to act cool, its just sad.

I get lil gay cars revvin at me all the time, the best was last year a lil hatch back civic revved at me i just looked over like what the **** then he smirked and did it again so i looked over and gave him the pipes and just laughed he just looked straight after that a turned off it was amusing.

i always get that its like a constant thing where i live cause the ricer group is so big but my favorite things to race are the v8 mustangs they are a much better race.

i really dont get that often,but the last time i raced my car i was running against a bunch of ricers and i was killing them. and then this one rudypoo asked me for another run ..i beat'em again then i let my brother race him once again same thing then he comes over to me and my crew and starting talkin crap about racing for slips...im was looking at him like u must be kidding and started laughing at him

I had some guy in a Sunfire pull to me at a red light and give me the look. He had the big wing and big exhaust pipe. Sounded like a lawn mower. My wife looks at him and started laughing and said get him. Just as the light turned a cop pulled up behind us and he never seen him. He took off in a cloud of smoke and the cop pulled him over. I honked and waved as we went by. It was great.

that happened to me when i was going to work at night one time.I pulled up to a light and some car was next to me full of females and a male driver.so i looked
over at them and took off and these people had the nerve to try to race me down the street for at least a mile then we came to this bridge and as we were coming down guess what i saw a friggin cop sitting in a dark parking lot..lucky for me i was the first one down the brigde cause i was able to see him and jammed on the brakes and the idiot i was racing didnt see'm and well yal know the rest

Hitting your brakes in a camaro is a sure way to get stopped... The whole car goes into a ****** nose dive, so I never slam on my brakes.

My Hawk doesn't dip the nose enough to notice easy (Bilstein suspension option), and my CHMSL doesn't have a spoiler or anything to reflect on the car itself, but all those tail lamps light up the backside of every street sign for blocks - hence, engine brake with the easy clutch.

It's not as new to me now, but ricers are constantly pulling alongside (not noticing the plate says OH2 HAWK, duh) and assume I'm a V6 vert (with T/A nose) and burp their sodabottle engine like they want some. When I syncho the gear shift from 6th @ 35mph to 1st @ 35, and they hear the engine, they start looking harder - no WS6 hood, they don't notice the Hawk hoodscoops or heat extractors, they look for WS6 logo by the door, and finally notice "Firehawk" and suddenly the standard "Oh sh*t, it's a Firehawk, sorry dude". It's like the Firehawk is a sleeper for the clueless.
I even had another Hawk vert that was 1 week older than mine say the same thing - I had to explain that with his A4, his could beat mine.
