Question Need Info On Lowering A Car

Hey i don't know much about lowering my car. I have a 92 teg and it looks like it's on stilts. I have 15" inch GSR rims right now and may go with 17". I can get neuspeed 2" drop for $230 (which is a decent deal i think).
I don't want my car to bounce all over the road and my tires to rub. I want my car to look as close to stock as possible but just wrap around the rims a bit better. What do you guys reccomend...
Does anyone know of any good TEG forums?

Most of the cars you see bouncing around the road are lowered on shitty sleve type threaded coilovers. They bounce around because the poor teenage driver doesn't think spending money on upgraded shocks/struts is worth it.

Your car is a 1992, right? It's probably got a decent amount of milage on it, so you might want to look into getting a new set of aftermarket shocks.

You'll need new shocks for sure. I have a 99 Z24 and when I lowered it I needed new shocks, and I lowered it in like 2003 so there was very little mileage on the car.

my friend with the same car just put springs in. He doesn't even know the brand he paid $100. Not that bumpy.

A 2 inch drop w/17's might be pushing it. If you gotta do a quick U-E, u might get tire rub.
